Educational Qualification: Master’s degree in Zoology or Botany or Microbiology or Anthropology or Biology or Human Biology or Life Science or Biochemistry or Microbiology or Genetics or Biotechnology or Molecular Biology or Forensic Science with Zoology or Botany as one of the subjects or papers during all the three years of Bachelor of Science level from a recognized University. OR B.E./B.Tech in Biotechnology from a recognized University.

Junior Scientific Assistant (Ballistics)
Educational Qualification: Master’s degree in Physics/Mathematics/Applied Mathematics/ Forensic Science with Physics or Mathematics as one of the subjects or papers during all the three years of Bachelor of Science level from a recognized University.

Assistant Archivist Grade-I
Educational Qualification: Master’s Degree in History with a paper in Modern Indian History from a recognized University. Diploma in Archives and Record Management from a recognized University or Institute.

I.T. Assistant, Grade – A
Educational Qualification: 12th Standard pass from a recognised institution / board or equivalent. Should possess a speed of not less than 8000 key depressions per hour (i.e. 26.67 Words Per Minute, either in English or Hindi typing) for Data Entry work and he/she should qualify the Aptitude Test.
Age Limit: Below 27 years.
Fitter Grade – II
Educational Qualification: Persons having certificate in the Trade of Plumber from a recognised institution. One year practical exp. in handling of water distribution network of C.I. and G.I. pipes and their accessories.
Age Limit: 20 – 32 years.
Lift Operator
Educational Qualification: Matric / Hr. Secondary. Tech. Qualification : ITI certificate in the trade of Electrician / Wireman from recognised institution.
Age Limit: 18 – 37 years.
Asstt. Operator cum Mechanic (A/C)
Educational Qualification: Matric / Higher Secondary with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. I.T.I. in the trade of Refrigeration and Air Conditioning.
Age Limit: 18 – 32 years.
Sub Station Apprentice
Educational Qualification: Candidate should have completed Matric. The candidate should possess National Trade Certificate of two years duration awarded by National Council for Training in Vocational Trade Govt. of India, Ministry of Labour and Employment in the Trade of Electrician.
Age Limit: 18 – 32 years.
Data Processing Assistant Grade ‘A’
Educational Qualification: Degree of recognized university or equivalent. OR Diploma in computer Engg. of three years duration from a recognized institution with 1 year experience of electronic data processing OR Degree in Computer Engg. from a recognized institution/university AND Should possess a speed of not less than 8000 key depressions per hour (i.e. 26.67 Words Per Minute, either in English or Hindi typing) for data entry work.

Data Entry Operator Grade ‘B’
Educational Qualification: Degree of recognized university or equivalent. OR Three years diploma in computer Engg./digital electronics or Electronics & Communication Engg. with computer application / programming as a subject. Educational Qualification: Bachelors degree in Computer Application (BCA) from a recognized university. OR Graduation in Computer science from a recognized university. Electrical Overseer / Sub-Inspector
Educational Qualification: 3 years Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or its equivalent from a recognized university or institution. Experience of one year in case of Diploma holder in the practice of Electrical Engineering in an electrical or mechanical engineering workshop or in generation or transmission or distribution of electricity, or in the administration of the Act and rules thereunder, in a position of responsibility.

Application Fees for DSSSB Recruitment 2026
- Application Fees for DSSSB Recruitment 2026 is ₹ 100/- (One Hundred only).
- Women candidates and candidates belonging to Schedule Caste, Schedule Tribe, PwBD (Person with Benchmark Disability) & Ex-Serviceman category are exempted from paying application fees.
- Ex-Servicemen who have already secured employment in civil post under Central Government /Government of NCT of Delhi or its Autonomous /Local Bodies on regular basis after availing of the benefits of reservation given to Ex-Servicemen for their re-employment are NOT eligible for fees concession.
- The candidates submitting their application online should pay the requisite fees only through SBI epay. Other mode of payment shall not be accepted/considered and the payment made shall stand forfeited.
- Application fees once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances.
Selection Process for DSSSB Recruitment 2026
- The selection shall be made through Computer Based Examination.
- Marks scored by candidates in the Computer Based Test/Exam will be normalized.
- The Board, in order to achieve qualitative selection and to recruit the best talent available, has fixed the following minimum qualifying marks (wherever applicable) for different categories:
General/EWS : 35%
OBC ( Delhi ) : 40%
SC/ST/PH ( PwBD ) : 30%
Ex-Servicemen will be given 5% relaxation in their respective categories subject to a minimum of 30%.
